All the hard work that the students put in is now visible to the general public. The students do projects given by various math teachers during the year. To be on the website, the project should demonstrate exceptional quality. There are projects from different grade levels.

Super Shoppers
The first graders went on a field trip to Safeway to see how a supermarket works. On the trip, the children got to go in the freezer, meet the pharmacist, eat fresh cookies from the bakery and watch boxes get crushed by a machine.
To go along with the trip, our math classes each set up their own store. The children brought in items for the store from home and priced them. They each had a wallet and money and got a chance to be a customer and a cashier. They had to pay for items and give correct change using our cash register. Of course, no store is complete without name tags, aprons, and grocery bags!
