There have been famines, floods, wars, earthquakes, disease, and volcano eruptions, to name a few. This paper will focus on plague, specifically, the Black Plague which destroyed half of the European population during the Middle Ages.
When population gets too high, natural forces have a way of lowering the population. This epidemic is a classic example of this.
