Animal Wonders

ACTIVITIES:

1. Animal wonders are everywhere in the world. From this book describe one animal that you found most interesting and unusual. Tell why you selected it. Write this in a paragraph. A picture would be helpful to include.

2. When you think about it, every animal on earth is a wonder, including ones that we see every day. Choose a dog, cat, bird, fly, or other more common animal and describe how it is unique. Comment on how it gets its food, has babies, moves around, and defends itself. You may include a picture, as well.

3. The subject of building is most important for animals and is also quite varied, as when they build houses, bridges, and places to store food. Make a 3-D model of some of the different and unusual building projects that animals do.

4. Write about how animals get their food or how they stay alive. This information is readily available from your reading. You may also use pictures to help you get your points across.
