ACTIVITIES:
1. What did the Wizard agree to give the Scarecrow, the Woodsman, and the Lion? Describe this in detail in a paragraph and include why he would agree to this.
2. Tell why or why not you would have left Oz in the balloon with the Wizard like Dorothy did in a paragraph.
3. Make a balloon with a pear basket on the bottom to advertise the book. Decorate the balloon and hang it from the ceiling in the classroom.
4. Pretend that you work for a TV magazine and write a paragraph that tells a little bit about the movie of this book and whether or not it is worth watching.
