ACTIVITIES:
1. Why do you think Karen supports her brother and is the only one in the family to do so? Write a paragraph explaining this.
2. Tell whether or not you think that Jabber made the right decision when he chose to stick with soccer instead of football. Explain why.
3. Make a list of sports in which teamwork is important. For each sport, describe how and why the team members must work together. You may include pictures if you wish.
4. Make a poster with 2 columns. One column headed Support Jabber (soccer) and the other Support Football. Write the reasons for each that are given in the story.
