THE MOUSE AND

THE MOTORCYCLE

ACTIVITIES:

1. Add a new chapter to the book. Use dialogue to make it lively. Put yourself in the story having an adventure with Ralph at the Mountain View Inn.

2. Draw a picture of yourself as Ralph would see you from the floor of Room 217.

3. Make finger puppets to act out parts of the 2 mice and put on a puppet show for the class with a script.

4. Create a board game that Ralph would like to play. Use your creativity to design the board, pieces, and question cards.

5. Draw or make a mouse amusement park for Ralph. Include some household objects for the rides.

6. Ralph is a hero, so write a song or poem about him that could be sung or recited at festivities and perform it for the class.
