NIGHT MARKETS

ACTIVITIES:

1. Draw a map of your state. Draw in the products your state grows, collect, or makes.

2. Make a list of products of your state. Then group them according to foods, toys, machines, chemicals, clothes, and anything else that works. Put this in a chart poster.

3. Write an article on something your state sells. Write about the journey the product takes from your state to where it is used.

4. Be a tour guide and give a talk about what the class will see on the field trip to the markets of New York. Include the who, what, when, and why of what they will see.

5. Create an ad that tells about the tour you offer. Write about it telling what visitors will see and learn on the trip.

6. Write an article as a reporter on the scene for a newspaper about the activities at the markets in New York City.
