ACTIVITIES:
1. Write in a paragraph about the ways that Patty was like her friends and ways that she was different from them.
2. Describe in a paragraph how Patty will be different when she returns home after vacation besides being able to ride a bike.
3. Bicycles have changed greatly over the years. Look for pictures of bikes from long ago. Copy them and put together a bike book to show the history of the bike. Try to include the years that they were popular.
4. Learn how to raise or lower the seat on a bike and make a poster explaining this to the class.
