Insects

ACTIVITIES:

1. Color is found everywhere in the world of insects. It may also be a matter of survival for the insect. Draw pictures to show this. Be colorful! Write a caption for each picture.

2. Explain metamorphosis in words and pictures telling about the 4 separate stages most insects go through.

3. Many insects have bad reputations. Make a list of good and bad things that certain insects do for comparison purposes. Be specific!

4. The sections of the body of an insect common to all are the head, thorax, and abdomen. Describe them and draw pictures to show each one. Label the parts in your drawing, as well.
