ACTIVITIES:

1. Draw a diagram to show how the eye works. Label the parts and write how they work.

2. Write a report explaining how visually challenged people use things like Braille, walking sticks, and guide dogs.

3. Read a book about optical illusions and show how some of them work. Bring the book to class.

4. Write a diary from the point of view of one of the characters in the book other than Anna and tell about the events you experienced on one day. Describe how Anna reacted and how the rest of the family responded to you.

5. Write a poem that describes your feelings as a Soilden family member.
