ACTIVITIES:
1. Write write a paragraph that tells why you think Dorothea chose to take the kinds of photos that she did. Think about her childhood and the kind of person that she was.
2. Write a paragraph telling how Dorothea's photos of the homeless people helped these people.
3. Pretend that you are a photographer. Make a list of people and scenes that you would like to photograph and then take those photos and put them on a poster, with captions explaining each one.
4. Write a letter that you might write to Dorothea, telling her why you like or don't like her photos.
