The Codebreaker Kids

ACTIVITIES:

1. Codes are often used to send secret messages. Tell why people might want to use a code in real life and why they might want to keep their messages secret.

2. Do you think this story could really have happened? Tell why or why not.

3. Using one of the codes that Dinky and his friends used, write a letter. Have your teacher copy it and give a copy to each classmate. See if any of your classmates can figure out your letter.

4. Create a book that contains the procedures for using all the codes introduced in The Codebreaker Kids. You may want to title your code book All the Codebreaker Kids' Codes You'll Ever Need!
