Cars and How They Go

ACTIVITIES:

1. This book tells about how cars go on wheels. Compare a car to something else that goes on wheels, a bike, or a train, for example. How are they the same or different. Your need to write a paragraph and draw a picture showing this.

2. How were cars in the past different from cars today? How might they be different in the future. Draw a picture to show this and write a paragraph describing these differences.

3. Use the facts from this book to make up a test about how cars run. Make up 5 questions and see if your classmates can pass your test. You need to have an answer sheet, as well.

4. Draw a car of the future. Use drawings like the ones in the book. Show how the car will look and what will make the wheels go around.
