ACTIVITIES:
1. Write a paragraph about what you think Babe had, aside from her fabulous feet, that made her one of the world's greatest all-around athletes.
2. Write a paragraph about why you think Babe enjoyed competing in individual sports like golf and track and field rather than team sports.
3. Babe saved newspaper articles about herself in high school. Make a scrapbook about your favorite athlete or sport. You can draw your own pictures or cut them out of the newspapers or magazines. Write captions under the pictures.
4. List 4 sports in which both men and women compete. Try to identify at least one man and one woman who are famous in each sport. Include appropriate information about their accomplishments.
