ARTHUR, FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME

ACTIVITIES:

1. Write how Moira's opinion of Arthur changes from the beginning to the end of the story. Include why you think it changes in a paragraph.

2. Arthur learns that what he says and does is important to the people around him. Select the three most important actions that Arthur took and write the results or effects of each action in a paragraph. .

3. Create a notebook like the one Arthur kept. Write down things you observe or think about, special ideas you have, and questions you want to ask.

4. Pretend that you work for a record company. Design a cover for a CD containing songs that Uncle Wrisby sings to Bernadette. Include a title and description to go with your CD cover.
