Foreign Language Writing Guidelines

 

1. All essays must be done on computer, double-spaced.

2. Appropriate diacritical markings must be used. They may not be written in by hand. A guideline to how to include these markings may be accessed through Mr. Manjoine's web page.

3. A hard copy of the essay must be turned in on due date at the beginning of the class period.

4. All essays must be stored into the student's language folder on the Harker server.

5. A hard copy with revisions must be returned to the instructor within three days of receiving the annotated first draft.

6. The first draft of the essay must be stapled to and handed in with the corrected version.

7. A list of the most frequent errors should be noted on the original version of the essay.

8. The final graded assignment will be kept in individual student folder.

9. The Department policy on Plagiarism will be followed. Please cite appropriately any image included in a web page.
